His smile softened, he knew how important this was to his family, and to his people. Finding a hobbit was the only redemption for the dwarrow of Erebor, especially for the line of Durin.
He took his uncle's calloused hand and said, “I swear it uncle. At least one hobbit still lives.”

Of all the tales in Arda, there was none so tragic as the history of hobbits.
Bilbo lived a peaceful life hiding in the Shire. It was quiet, safe, and a little bit lonely. Though loneliness was a small price to pay if it meant keeping his existence a secret. After all, getting captured by the savage dwarves of Erebor meant certain death. At least that's what the stories his mother used to tell him warned.

Summary
When Aman is emptied and several elves land in a world filled with Mankind who fear and lack all recollection of the firstborn: Elrond, Glrofindel, and Erestor find themselves captive of a strange force who identify themselves at the "US Government."
Soon a brilliant biologist, who has already worked on a plethora of top secret projects with the government, is reassigned from her studies on immortal jellyfish and tasked with extracting information (be it biological or strategical) from subjects who are certainly not human.
She must then wrestle with her morals as she finds that separating emotion from her work is incredibly difficult when your subjects can speak the same language as the scientist.

Summary
Zuko formed a bond with an Earth Kingdom Colonel and trusted him enough to turn himself into their custody without putting up a fight. The deal he's offered is a lenient form of imprisonment with more freedom than he'd hoped for. But his only ally is sent on a mission and Zuko has to navigate the new, hostile reality on his own.

It’s been only a week after the avatar ended the one-hundred year war and defeated the fire-lord in battle. But as Ozai is left to rot in prison, a sickness he was born with finally catches up with him and begins to ravage his body; the ex-firelord only hoping now that it kills him. However, the avatar has other plans for him to atone for his actions and better himself.
Meanwhile, Iroh visits Azula in the mental hospital and discovers the physicians have turned her into a shell of a being. And despite her past, Iroh believes his niece can change just like her brother; and finally find peace and joy in her life.

Team Avatar helps heal a sick Ozai against his will, and Azula finally gets to heal with Iroh at her side.
