“I dreamt I held you in my arms”, Bucky sang along, sitting by Steve with a bowl of warm water and a rag. Steve rolled his eyes, but he couldn’t help smiling. Bucky always had this way of cheering him up and sometimes it pissed him off, but he could never stay mad when Bucky was around.
“Stop it, stop”, Steve spoke, not sure what he was trying to stop anymore. He was laughing and he could barely feel the sting when the rag was pressed against his face. Bucky sang a few more lyrics and the boy listened to his friend’s voice with contentment.
The song continued, but suddenly, neither of them knew the words. The rag was still against Steve’s face, but he was distracted by his friend’s eyes. Bucky stared back at him with a strange look.
“Steve…”
“Yeah...Buck?”
“I could kiss ya right now, yer so beautiful…”

There is something so charmingly mid-2010s about this fic. Please do not ask me to describe that feeling, but let's just say I had the urge to listen to the Seeb remixes of Hymn for the Weekend and I Took A Pill In Ibiza. Man, I forgot that I had an EDM phase? On the other hand, this fic also reminded me that I have indeed listened to Taylor Swift's entire discography. It's up to you if that's a good or a bad thing.
Anyway, I had so much fun reading this story. I loved the entire ensemble of characters, and I enjoyed all the friendships, music, and pop references. Beca and Chloe were so freakin' cute, and I liked their relationship progression. Loved the integration of tweets and articles! Overall, I had such a blast reading this AU.

Stiles let out a sarcastic laugh and flipped his dad off. The sheriff gave him a look, but he didn’t reprimand him, clearly able to tell Stiles was miserable.
