It was quiet for a beat, Bonbon was instinctively making sure that Esmond’s bed was comfortable, knowing Es would most likely pass right out and not acknowledge it whatsoever.. Why was he doing this? Bonny isn’t sure. Why did he decide to drive Esmond? Be his designated driver over anyone else in the group?
Esmond breaks the silence.
“I hafta tell you somethin’.” His head hung low, but looked up at Bonbon through his eyelashes. “Yeah? What’s up, Es?”
