She also thought, "Huh, that's what guts look like," when he got mauled to death five seconds later, but that's unrelated.
Honestly, it's a miracle shit went back to normal after all that. Apparently with murder monsters that come from nightmares comes a whole new world full of people who kill them on the regular.
Besides the prevented death of humanity and possible avoidance of nuclear fall out, Nicole didn't think of the world known as Remnant, it had jack all to do with her.
Until her mom dragged her to join her on a "vacation," just at the start of her sophomore Winter Break, and what does she happen to do? Meet some himbo blond from said world of monsters, fucks him, and now she is not only moving down to Virginia of all states but now has to deal with another new step dad and a way to happy step sister.
The dog is fine though.

In this game, it's not about your strength or your dexterity. It's about your followers, your views. Your clout. It's about building an audience and killing with style.
