Doovid was having a very good week. Thinking back, he probably should have known something would go wrong. His roommate, Avid, was off on a vampire hunting trip for a few days, and Doovid was happy to have their apartment to himself.
He immediately sent an invite to most of their shared friends. Nothing to big as his and Avid's apartment couldn't host to many people, but he wanted to do something with the chance!

Doovid was helping a friend home after a party he hosted, unfortunately, on his way back home he gets turned by a vampire.
That might have been fine- if only his roommate wasn't a vampire hunter.

The space ships alarms were on, loud and flashing red, when the janitor woke up. He rubbed at his eyes in confusion as he sat up. He had fell asleep in his space suit. Still groggy, he thought about how the higher ups wouldn't be happy if they found out about that.
Then Avid heard a scream from outside his room. Reality finally hit him and he bolted out of his room. Immediately he saw the nurse, Marm, running over to him with a limp. She was notably not doing the best and had obvious bruises on her.

Everything had been fairly normal up until the storm rolled around. That might not be the best wording for what happened, might make people think Viking’s problems were caused by the storm. In all honesty, he doesn’t know what caused them, just when they started.
In other words: Ruby got tube, Viking suffers for it, and nobody knows what's actually going on!
