In a moment of Desperation, Summer rose made a terrible choice.
She didn't choose to die fighting an impossible battle. She choose to live through becoming an impossible Monster, for the sake of her daughter.
And now everyone else must face the consequences.

Hanging around Beacon trying to find his incompetent older sister was not Whitley's idea of a good time. Indeed, it wasn't anybody's, he suspected. Having to wait outside her plebian dormroom was even worse. And finally, having to tolerate her team leader Ruby Rose was the limit.

Summary
Gabriel, formerly the greatest Angel in all of Heaven, is dead.
But he is not allowed the comfort of the void.
He awakes in a world so strange and yet so similar to the Earth that he was ripped from, with the oddities of a broken moon and beasts of shadow, but the familiarities of petty squabble and endless idiocy. A world that is full of something he never thought he would ever see again: Humans. They’re just as strange as the old humans he knew of from Earth, but they and the Faunus have abilities that the humans from Earth could only dream of.
Yet this world of Remnant is dying, as evils ancient and new are determined to fulfill their own desires, and they shall achieve their goals without care for how many shall die for them.
Gabriel shall have to fight against the encroaching darkness with many strange allies to save the world, most notable of which being the young Ruby Rose, a once joyful girl burdened by the weight of both her past failures and the task at hand.Earth is gone.
Remnant is dying.
