Summary
Jin Guangyao survives the events at Guanyin temple. He and Lan Xichen have a lot to work out, a lot of wounds to heal, a lot of things to explain. And, of course, someone is still trying to kill him.

This is kinda like a long character + relationship study because love them, so this is a LXC/JGY centric fic of them having the chance to solve their troubles, since I am quite frankly overflowing with feelings for their tragic end. They deserve a happy one, so I started writing one. Will also be filling out some missing scenes and flashbacks we never saw, like JGY rescuing LXC from the burning of the Cloud Recesses.
Lotsa moral debate and that kinda stuff, no explicit content, and the canon I’m going off of is a mix of cql and the novel, because I like picking the best cherries, haha. Will provide context in the fic, of course.
