Summary
Arthur's mother had always told him that hate was a strong word. Even now, years later, he didn't use the word lightly. But he hated Eames. He always had, always would.
But what if he was mistaken? -

Summary
Still, Arthur feels known to Mal in that moment, bound together as much as the twisting metal of the candle holders on the table between them. She reaches over to lay her hand over his own and Arthur thinks about what she means—about losing himself. In dreams, in the abyss, the mazes they built together. In the cobblestoned streets of Paris, walking and waiting for the dark that never really fully arrived, kept at bay by all the lights and life of the city glittering around them. In the lull of Eames’ voice in his ears, hovering too-close like he always did when they went out to celebrate a job’s success, trying something without really trying.

Summary
Eames is annoyed with Arthur and Arthur is confused about the said man's mannerisms. This is set during and after the movie Inception. Almost every character is mentioned. This is about how their relationship might have looked "behind closed doors" and what happened to them after.
Can read without watching it but all the terms and characters might be a bit confusing if you haven't seen it. Not anything too angsty but realistic to the fact that these are two grown-up men from different life situations. Eventually, something will happen between these two but you have to find out more by reading >:)

She doesn't turn, only asking a question that makes his heart drop.

Summary
I wrote this ten years ago because I was bothered by--if you can imagine--some modest flaws in the motion picture Inception (2010) and wished to correct them. Therefore this prequel about the gang in their prime should explain everything the movie glossed over, once and for all. You are welcome.

Summary
Going undercover at a charity ball hosted by one of the richest men in the country was hard enough as it was, but Arthur was certain flying solo would draw more attention than he’d like. If only he knew someone who could act well under pressure and improvise at a moment’s notice... like a top-notch forger.
He just hopes she’ll say yes last minute.

What do you want to bet?
Were sweeter words ever spoken? More dangerous?
Eames is bad for Arthur. Eames is bad for Arthur and this will not end well.
Question is, how do you stop falling when you're already midair?
Question is, how the hell do you keep yourself from meeting up with the ground?

Since projections look like real people and real people can act like projections, it's weird how Arthur can tell them apart so well.

Summary
And he’s not like Cobb. He knows what’s real and what’s not. Real life stings of inconsistency and change and stubborn refusal to adapt. Unreality is riddled with idealisms and fantasies, loves lost still there in front of you waiting to be touched and taken and laughed with.
Eames is another passerby on the street, and so spares him but a glance before going about his busy subconscious day.
