Three: Thank her without going off on a ramble about parkas, or how good she looks in them.So when Gloria responds to the gift in a rather curious way, Hop realises his poor communication skills have done him in again.
Fluff (with plot!) set in the tail end of the Pokemon Sword plot, full of furious texting and dramatic gestures that end up more public than intended.

A year after becoming the champion of the Galar League, it's Gym Challenge season again. However, Gloria feels the weight of her title after her voice fails her during the first press conference of the season.
This season brings all sorts of new challenges. She and Hop's changing relationship, the media firestorm around her, and a world-famous champion here in Galar to take on the league. Red of Kanto.
She decides to travel with him to learn how to better cope as a champ with a public speaking problem. But she ends up learning a lot more than that from him, as it turns out they have more in common. Like being in love with their rival. Too bad Gloria doesn't realize that yet. Red and Blue are sure she'll figure out it one day. They did after all.
