The Rumbling is over. Everyone's moving forward and so is Levi. He has finally managed to settle down; he found a place to stay in Odiha, got a job and he's surrounded by people who cherish him and he does, as well. But something is still missing. That's until you call him, using these new devices called 'telephones', and he hears your voice after years of having not seen each other or communicated in some other way. And now, you found yourself vacationing at his place, after a long time of serving as Historia's guard, her human shield, ever since she was appointed Queen of the Walls. In the meantime, you discover your diary, the one you kept throughout your Scout days, from when you were still a cadet. How will things transpire after your arrival? Will those feelings from the past bloom into something powerful or remain dormant, caged in your hearts?

In the midst of the Rumbling, on the boat to Odiha, Armin and Annie let themselves share a moment of weakness, which leads to something neither of them is prepared for: Annie is pregnant.
However, their relationship has been strained ever since the Rumbling ended. The news of Annie’s pregnancy and the expectation that Armin will travel further south in Marley to begin negotiations, along with anyone who will accompany him, bring more challenges than they had anticipated.
Yet, in spite of all of the difficulties these new circumstances may bring, they might just bring the two of them back together again.
