Imogen chewed at her lip. “The risk is that someone else’s soul would get…thrown out?”
“No,” the drow corrected. “My focus would be on ensuring it is hers that gets annihilated. But because of that, I may not be able to…ensure everyone returns to the proper bodies. “
Or, an alternate solution to the Delilah problem throws everyone into the wrong bodies. Humor ensues.

"Imogen knows something’s up when Dorian brings home a coconut cream pie. Not because Dorian can’t or doesn’t do anything nice. But when he brings home a full pie from the cafe where he works, it’s usually Orym’s favorite, strawberry rhubarb, or whatever is left over at the end of the day.
Coconut cream is Imogen’s favorite though. And there’s almost never a whole coconut cream pie left at the end of the day. And she absolutely pretends not to see the way his smile tightens as he looks at her when he tells them all, “Dig in!” And, even though she’s sure there’s a catch to it, she tucks herself into a big piece and snuggles up next to Laudna for their show that night.
The other shoe drops the next morning."

Dorian shrugs with one shoulder. His heart rate is mostly back to normal, now. "You could say that."
There's a soft sound as Laudna pats the ground next to her.
And maybe it's because he feels guilty about flinching, or because he could really use some contact with anyone right now. Either way, he stands up and cautiously makes his way over to her, careful not to step on anyone as he goes.
Or: Dorian has several italicized oh moments in rapid succession and it's all Laudna and Orym's fault (he isn't upset about it)
