Summary
Oliver Queen is arrested for being the vigilante by one Quentin Lance.
With Hunter by his side, however, he can hopefully make it through this situation and come out of it acquitted and free to continue as the vigilante.
He doesn't expect all the events involving a particular detective to occur - and their resent-filled relationship to move into one of begrudging respect as a result of them.

“Freeze!”
The voice rings out from just behind you. Despite the stranger being out of sight, his heavy breathing tells you what you need to know. He is just as ill-prepared for this as you are.
“I’m armed, so don’t even think about moving. I promise it won’t end well.”
The stranger steps into view, circling you once and stopping. Ok, so he wasn't lying, and now the muzzle of a revolver is pointed at your forehead. His chest heaves as he looks down at you with determination, his posture is straight and rigid, and he never breaks eye contact. He looks at you as if he is the one at the wrong end of the gun rather than you.
“Drop your weapons.” The stranger says.

That was the kind of ramble that Seungmin kept close to his chest, the kind filled with the type of off-camera roughness that only rears its head around people he really trusts. His words were raw, half-formed and still warm from his lips as they sunk into Hyunjin’s skin. Blunt. Honest. Unintentionally hurtful.
After that, Hyunjin laughed, trying to drown it out. The point was that he didn’t want their lapses to last for as long as they inevitably do, but he didn’t want to spend their time arguing over a bottle of wine they both knew Jeongin would like just fine either.
What was he supposed to say to him, anyway, when they finally reunited? Where have you been? I haven’t seen you in a while. Maybe if I can finally become enough like you, if you rub off on me enough, then I’ll stop wanting to keep the real thing close. Maybe emulating your heart will be good enough someday.
