Summary
Phoenix Mist-Mountain is one of four creatures made by the Mist-Mountain Spirit, sister to the Fog-Mountain spirit. The Mist-Mountain Spirit lives in the East and the Fog-Mountain Spirit lives in the West. Upon hearing that one of the Fog-Mountain Spirit’s creations had a child, Phoenix is sent out to show her congratulations.
Along the way she runs into Monk Tripitaka who is also traveling West, and she makes the decision to stay by his side until they reach her destination. She did not expect to be dragged into his Journey full force however when he releases two dangerous Monkey demons who seem to hate his guts as well as hers. She has to juggle protecting Tripitaka from the demons, the monkey demons as well as try to stay on track with her own quest.
Eventually she also has to juggle the two monkey demons becoming enamored with her for reasons unknown to her. Her Journey to the West was NOT supposed to be this difficult.Note!! I updated the tags!
