Summary
After a chance encounter in the woods at night, Daichi is catapulted into a rapidly changing conspiracy in which Oikawa has missing time in his childhood, Daichi's father is part of a secret government agency, Tendou doesn't seem to be human and, mostly bizarrely of all, the boy's ghost hunting adventures go viral when Kenma posts videos of them online.
Daichi probably wouldn't hate being internet famous with the four other volleyball captains if it didn't seem to also come with ghosts at the edge of his vision and uncovering something deeply, fundamentally wrong with his family.

Hey. So I have a lot to say about this fic but I feel like my words have all run out. This is beautiful. The plot is fucking amazing and I am fucking BAFFLED and IMPRESSED and EVERYTHING!!!! I love the way all the characters' mindsets and personalities were delved into and how beautifully and amazingly each relationship was dissected and how the love was so palpable and RAW and I just... love this so much Like YES! I feel like if I reread this, I would find new realizations about myself and my life and my entire reality every single time. This was the found family captains fic I was looking for. Yes! Exactly. I have no excuses for the fact that I read this 290k fic in a span of 3 days. I love it SO FUCKING MUCH GIVE ME MORE!!!
I also want to note one of my favorite chapters: Chapter 24: Disco Death because that chapter was BATSHIT INSANE IMO. I LOVE IT SO FUCKING MUCH!!!! THANK YOU AUTHOR PLEASE KEEP WRITING!!!
