She rounded the corner, spotting her friends. She approached the ledge that separated the palace from the portal gate, pausing at the edge to stare into the endless void below. She grinned, spreading her dark feathered wings to their fullest expanse, the dark purple and pale lilac melding together to form a galaxy-like pattern. With that, her wings powered downwards, carrying over the small distance of the fall to the garden paths below. She walked over to the others, her large wings folding smoothly against her spine as they had done countless times before.
