Summary
Mk has been having a hard time with the whole, being a monkey, meant to die, world changing events thing. Hasn't even told anyone what happened in the Pillar. Everyone is worried about him, and he doesn't know how to handle that either.
With a little intervention from Sandy, Mk ends up joining Mei on her longest trip to train with Red Son yet. A full week spending time with friends and no responsibilities. A well earned break.
And Mk isn't the only one who needs it.

“You relentlessly pester me to have a week of training, then bring him along unannounced?” Red Son shakes Mk for emphasis, and Mk is undeterred from trying for that hug.
“I announced him!” Mei gets out her phone. “I can pull it up!”
“PUPPY VIDEOS DON'T—” Red Son bursts into flames, launching Mk away. He takes a deep breath. “Which video was I supposed to interpret as you telling me you were bringing Noodle Boy?”
