And for just a few seconds, Scar’s world stops. Cuteguy holds her hand out to him, fingers brushing against his cheek. Scar can’t look away, not as the seconds stretch on, elongating themselves just to make this brief moment last longer. Cuteguy’s lips curl into a smile, seductive and attractive, and there’s a part of Scar, who wouldn’t mind kissing it. Those very same lips curl loosely around a few syllables, and while Scar can’t hear him over the music, he can read lips well enough to know what she says.
