“Chi sei? Dove mi trovo?” aveva indagato, un po’ guardingo, sentendo il calore sotto la carne accrescere, il subbuglio che provava si stava tramutando nel suo potere, come quando era bambino e non aveva controllo, si era concentrato perciò sul freddo marmo sotto i suoi palmi.
“Oh certo! Che sbadata! Io sono Ebe, dea della gioventù e sei sull’Olimpo!” aveva risposto quella, dandosi anche una pacca sulla fronte, come se avesse appena comunicato a Leo che per pranzo erano previsti i nuggets al posto delle polpette.
“Olimpo?” aveva chiesto.
“Oh certo, giovane Leonidas, i Pezzi Grossi vogliono parlare con te” aveva riferito prontamente quella, “Forse sono arrabbiati perché hai messo lo sgambetto alla morte” aveva ipotizzato Ebe, con il sorriso da capo-cheerleader sulle labbra.
