Lan Zhan gave her a look that Wei Ying always interpreted as saying, “You are stupid and missing something obvious but I’m not going to point it out to you because you need to learn for yourself.”
“Wei Ying is perfectly kissable,” Lan Zhan said seriously, eyes flickering back to the book in her lap. “Perhaps Wei Ying is not kissing the right kind of people.”
