“Mhm.” Will finds himself humming in agreement, too stunned to do anything else as he stares at the man – how his fingers twitch in the air before balling up into fists, his whole body turning to look at him again.
He wonders if it would be the right thing to do, if it really is okay to move on with his life when he knows his sister would always be stuck in one place? It's dumb, stupid to think about, he knows that, but— Will always led his life with an infuriating strong empathy, even though he was not given an ounce of that for all that he had gone through. He couldn't help but think about her, Eleven- Jane, his sister. What she would say if she saw him.
Or: Will and Mike after the epilogue, showcasing what really happened after everything; how they struggle with the feelings of guilt and shame that come with the memory of Eleven.
Also, Will gets a boyfriend— nobody knows how to deal with it.
Nobody being everything. Everything being Mike fucking Wheeler.

"Buck. Fall. Back." Eddie's voice crackled with barely restrained anger.
Oh, Eddie.
Buck brought a hand up to his radio, a half cocked smile on his face as his feet beat against the dingy wooden floors. "No can do, soldier. There's still a little girl in here."
Eddie wasn't an angry man—Buck knew this. He was a scared one. An animal trapped in a corner baring its teeth in an effort to protect himself, but not angry. He was filled with light and joy and warmth and it all seeped through the cracks in his massive walls when he let himself feel loved enough.
"Buck. You're still in there. For once in your fucking life save yourself. Don't make me come in there." Eddie snapped into the receiver and Buck almost laughed but the smoke was getting thicker and he's already been in the fire for long enough that weariness was clinging to his muscles.
"Don't go trying to steal my thunder now." Buck said warmly—he was always warm with Eddie.
The little girl screamed as the fire surged closer to the fringes of her night gown. The fire roared. The ceiling finally, tired as ever, gave in.
Buck was faster.
