This is a complete reimaging of the Spider-Man mythos, starting on the first night out as Spider-Man, and seeing Peter through years as Spidey.
Current Arc: Do The Right Thing (Chapters 55 - ?) - An August heat wave sweeps New York, raising temperatures and tensions. The Mary Janes are chosen to open for Black Canary for the New York leg of Dinah Lance's national tour on August 30. However, targeted attacks on New York financiers, government officials and infrastructure in the midst of the heat point to only one possible culprit, Anarky. Spider-Man needs to track down this ghost before he causes more damage than the city can handle. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn has a mission and a deadline: activate the Mother Box at the Empire State Building on the same night as Black Canary's show.

Summary
The year is 1988. Clark Kent is a 14 year old boy living in Smallville, Kansas. He's a quiet, kind-hearted dork who loves comic books and is keeping one of the greatest secrets in human history, namely that he is secretly an alien from outer space. As far as the rest of the world is aware, UFOs and ghosts and all of that "weekly world news" stuff is just as fictional as the superheroes in Clark's comics, and so he keeps his secret, always wondering where he came from and always wondering what he could accomplish if he had the courage to stop hiding and start using his alien abilities to help people, like the heroes in the stories he reads.
One night, Clark is attacked by time traveling villains who seek to wipe him out before he can become a threat to them, and is rescued by J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter, who received a message from his future self warning of the temporal incursion. Clark must then go on the run, evading the cabal of supervillains who are trying to kill him, and find and recruit other strange kids with strange abilities and backgrounds who will one day join Clark in founding the Justice League of America.
That is, if they can survive.

The Justice League is use to alternate versions of themselves and their sidekicks showing up. So a demigod from a universe where they're comic book characters is a bit of a surprise but none the less they are ready to handle this situation. It's just a matter of who will take him in.
Hal Jordan steps up (dragging Guy, John and Kyle into this whole ordeal too) when he learned about Ethan's past. He better than anyone knows what it's like. And he wants to help this traumatized teenager find some semblance of closure before they send him home.
