Miraculously, the couple had managed to secure a Friday night off from their part-time jobs and had studio time scheduled late tomorrow morning. They agreed earlier in the week that Mafuyu staying over made sense, considering it had been a while since they’d had the opportunity. With high school graduation a few short weeks away, they looked forward to their debut, more time in the studio, and ultimately, more time together. This particular night was unusual (and lucky), as Uenoyama’s parents were out of town, visiting his grandparents for the weekend in the countryside. He’d scarcely managed to get out of the trip, but the old ‘we already paid for the studio time so I can’t miss it’ excuse worked out quite well. It was the truth, after all.
