“So … I have not … seen you here before?” Kai says. Maybe that dude is a weirdo, then Kai’s little cursh would easily be over.
“Oh, I just moved here.” Julian says. “And I am trying to make more time for my daughter. So I try to pick her up from kindergarten more often.” He explains.
“Of course” Kai says. Obviously he is a dad, probably a married one too, or?
Kai tries to glance at Julian’s hand to check if he is wearing a ring, but Julian’s hand is buried in his pockets.
“And you?” Julian asks Kai.
“I … what?” Kai asks, confused. He should try to listen more, instead of just staring at Julian. Julian probably thinks he is a weirdo.
“What are you doing here?” Julian clarifies his question.
“Oh, I … I pick up my niece a couple times a week.”Or: Julian and Kai while Meeting in Front of a Kindergarten.
