Due to sabotage their airport reunion doesn't go as planned but they figure it out

After a year of waiting for his baby to come home Alex is bouncing on his feet at the airport, wearing a stupid t-shirt with Henry's face on it and to really complete the ridiculous look he wrote the letter H on his cheeks in red lipstick.It's been a rocky wait, because Alex's letters went unanswered, but after a few very angry phone calls to important people he got confirmation that Henry is on the plane of soldiers that made it safely home.
He watches soldier after soldier jump into the arms of their loved ones waiting for them or vise versa and then finally he spots Henry amongst the crowd.
He looks stronger and a little sadder than Alex remembers but as beautiful as always.
Alex opens his arms for Henry to jump into them.
Henry walks up to him, makes eyecontact with him... and walks right past him.
Alex stands there with an open mouth wondering why the fuck Henry didn't jump in his arms.

This whole thing had started when Pez had dared him to do something he never in his wildest dreams had thought he would ever go through with. After all, he might have known he was gay as a maypole for his entire life, but he had thought that he would keep that knowledge buried for years to come, maybe even take it to his grave, only voicing it to people he implicitly trusted such as Pez, who, as part of the queer community himself, had never judged Henry.
