This is basically my take on the x men. My own little x men universe if you will. It's kinda based on the X-Men Evolution series and X-Men Apocalypse since those are my favorite interpretations however it changed ever so slightly (it's not slightly). I just wanted to write some stories about my interpretation of the x men and write with my friends and I's ocs <3. This strays very heavily from Canon in my opinion so ye be warned in case you don't like that sort of thing.

Summary
For a fleeting moment, he thought an awful thought. Death would have been kinder. His dearest friend, the only person to show him unconditional care, to accept him completely, to even come close to understanding Erik and still choosing to believe he was a good person. Or rather that he could be a good person. Now he’d taken everything from him.
The bullet hits the top of Charles' spine, and Erik sees he is dying and doesn't just abandon him and leave him for dead in the sand BECAUSE WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD DO THAT??? Lots of Charles blaming himself and taking hits left, right and centre as long as everyone else is okay even though he's clearly not.

Erik has read widely and studied extensively but is usually surrounded by people who assume he hasn’t. Charles has consistently been the exception to this. From anyone else, the comment would sound patronizing, but Charles says it as if it’s a wonderful fact that he’s somehow simply forgotten—right, of course sunshine feels good on your skin. Of course Erik Lehnsherr reads Ginsberg.
Erik's lips tilt up in half a smile. He feels something that Charles often makes him feel: the urge to rise to the occasion, to impress, to show off. He takes another drink of coffee, meets Charles’s eyes, then says, “I look at you and I would rather look at you than all the portraits in the world.”
Or: Soft sheets, post-sex coffee, and quoting literature as foreplay.

He might understand them better that way.

“What did he say?” Erik asked, trying hard to keep his voice calm.
The barista hesitated, then shook his head. “I don’t know. He’s morning shift so we don’t really talk, I think he told Moira he’d read it and return it.”
“Read it?” Erik repeated slowly, as if tasting the words aloud might make them less absurd.
OR
Charles has the audacity to steal Eriks book. And also write in it, which itself isn't that bad exept Charles' notes are just plainly wrong (in Eriks eyes).
