The final was a mess and something we definitely did NOT deserve.

“Dean… It’s okay.” Jack said. “When you told us about the deal with the empty I figured what happened.”
Dean blinked. “How did you know?”
“He told me... and how he would be taken when he was most happy.”
Dean stayed silent for a few seconds, taking it in. “And you figured-”
“-that was you, yes.”
“That makes you smarter than me. I didn’t know and I’ve known Cas for years.”
“It’s not easy to see when there is no switch in behavior to you. He always loved you”
“Yeah? Well loving me got him dead.” He turned his back to Jack and closed his eyes. “Like everyone always does.”

Aemond wants to feel sorry for himself, but Rhaena Targaryen has to be the most unlucky girl in the world, and he feels a little bad about his part in her misfortune. Just a little. Mutilation is not the best starting point for a friendship, or a marriage, or any kind of relationship, really, but Aemond is an expert at making do.

...Or, why no one in the entire Seven Kingdoms believes Aemond Targaryen when he says that Vhagar ate Luke by accident.
