Summary
In a fantasy world where Dragons once lived harmoniously with humans and were seen as wise and something to be revered, they are now held as symbols of deviancy. When the prince-and heir to the throne- is caught hiding and rehabilitating an injured, elderly Dragon, he is arrested and sentenced to death.
However, the court jester; his best friend, his secret lover, the only person he'd lay down his life for without a second's hesitation, cannot allow him to be killed. They sneak away in the dead of night, expecting all of their troubles to be replaced with the thrilling life of vagabonds. They couldn't have been more wrong. Revenge, betrayal, heartbreak, forgiveness. What lengths would you go to to help the one you love? What would you pardon?
