“You’re so fucking stupid Butch, I fucking hate you so goddamn much.”
He opened his eyes and saw a flicker of confusion in Butch’s before he leaned down and brought his lips to the others. Immediately the older of the two tensed, Icarus felt his legs wriggle around trying to get control of the situation. The younger rolled his eyes mentally, only their lips were touching, Icarus didn’t have the energy to even try and actively kiss Butch. He pulled away slowly and opened his eyes, Butch had an unreadable expression on his face and opened his mouth to speak but Icarus had already begun to push himself off the other. He managed to grab along one of the hallway walls and lifted himself, eyes closing and opening in an attempt to control the dizzy feeling in his vision. Icarus gave Butch one last glance, who was still frozen on the ground before stumbling away towards the med center.
(Currently being rewritten and revamped with a trans Icarus cause I am more comfortable with my own transness and now gotta transify all my characters while also upgrading the fic with my current writing skills and not from my high school years lol)

Two years ago, the Institute was destroyed by the Sole Survivor and the Minutemen. After that the Brotherhood of Steel grew jealous and didn't want them controlling the Commonwealth. Back then they would just complain about the Minutemen being the ones to destroy the Institute and not them, but lately they've grown more ruthless. They've started attacking Minutemen patrols and harassing settlements, and there are rumors that they're planning to destroy the Minutemen and seize control of the Commonwealth.
Among the chaos stands Deacon. Agent of the Railroad, best friend of the Sole Survivor... and formally the Lone Wanderer.
After his wife Sarah Lyons was presumably killed in the Outcast incident seven years ago, he escaped to the Commonwealth, changed his face and joined the Railroad in their fight against the Institute. Then he met the Sole Survivor and everything changed, he had a friend again. But now his old friend Arthur Maxson is threatening to terrorize the place he now considers home, and he realizes that the wasteland still needs the Lone Wanderer. He needs to finish what he started.
He needs to become the Lone Wanderer again.
