    Years after monsters were released from Mt. Ebott, another wave of magic hit the world. More monsters were brought from other universes. This, of course, sparked a lot of controversy between humans and monsters.

    Eventually, a skeleton monster by the name of Sans stepped forward, admitting that he made a machine. A machine that brought alternate versions of everyone in the world to the prime universe.

    He was sentenced to prison.

    After a while though, Sans was released and he promised to try and fix the machine he had made. He wanted to send all of the alternate people back to where they belonged.

    Unfortunately, he fucked up again, landing all of monsterkind and humanity in a tight spot.

    An apocalypse.
