Soobin’s vision was starting to go a little blurry, but even through that, she could tell that the single sexiest girl she’d ever laid eyes on was headed her way.
Her eyes were hooded and sharp in a way that reminded Soobin of a cat; her bangs looked like they been magically arranged by little woodland creatures and Soobin wouldn’t have been surprised to learn that she was living in a cabin in the woods where rabbits and deer and bluebirds helped her get dressed every morning. Her skirt was incredibly short and her black camisole was incredibly tight and she looked downright intimidating. If Soobin hadn’t already been lightheaded she probably would’ve swooned.
“Are you okay? Do you need some water?”
It took Soobin a minute to realize they expected her to answer. They were both peering at her expectantly. She watched as both their brows began to furrow in worry and she forced her mouth to open. Soobin wanted to respond, she really, really did, but instead of saying anything, what happened was this: Soobin’s eyes rolled back in her head at exactly the same time her knees gave out. The last thing she heard was a scream as she hit the ground and then everything went black.

Summary
A soul from our world finds out exactly who she truly is on a journey between dimensions finding long lost friends and important answers along the way. The warrior of light’s story has always been shadowed in mystery and this one is no different. Azem has a hard time gripping with answers that mankind provided for the sake of their star and neither Emet-Selch or Hythlodaeus saw her voice of reason. Having never been so lost in her life she struggles to find an answer that can save the world in time. Hades burdened by the suffering of his people could not look into the eyes of the one he loved despite all her stubbornness. From the moment she left the convocation of fourteen to the moment he saw her once more, his regret stained his heart with ceaseless pain. Having grown up with his two childhood friends, Hythlodaeus knew just how much they meant to each other even if neither of them admitted it. Smiling happily with the hope in his heart that they can be together one day he made the ultimate sacrifice. And behind it all, the woman in white followed each one of them as her own heart ached at the pain caused by the final days and the knowledge that she was the only one who knew the truth.

Vaellies' 'Azem' counterpart is Lethe, like the literal river which is in the world unsundered. She is naturally forgetful to the point of forgetting major events not even full days after they've happened, and is forced to thus rely on others (Hyth and Hades, mainly) to remember aspects of her life, or write it down. As a result, she is hell-bent on creating shared memories with other's so that even if she herself forgets, she and her effects on others isn't forgotten.

“My office…NOW!” Hades practically dragged Azem down the hall and slammed the door behind them once they entered his private office.
“You have to stop being so reckless! Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?!” He tossed his mask on the desk, a sign that he wasn't speaking as Emet-Selch, her colleague, but as Hades, her childhood friend.
Azem did likewise. “I think I have a better grasp of the dangers than even you, Hades.” Her tone was sharp and reproving. “I knew the dangers even before Venat nominated me.”
Hades sighed. His hands were damp where he clenched them at his sides from nerves, but he was committed to the course now, so he would not be deterred. “Do you have any idea how worried I was, Hestia?” His voice was harsh, seething with barely contained emotion.
Hestia placed a fist on her hip and gave him an almost mocking smirk. “Aw, Hades, I didn't know you cared.”
“More than you know, you idiot,” he growled.
Hestia cocked her head in confusion. “Come again?”
Hestia barely had time to process what Hades had said before he had closed the distance between them, kissing her fiercely. "Oh," she thought, "thaaaaat explains a lot, actually."

Hades despises them. Calls them broken husks, cumbersome things that wage wars and gratuitously slay their kin out of greed, jealousy or a million other reasons he can list right off the bat, like a speech prepared and rehearsed. Yet Hythlodaeus… Hythlodaeus sees beauty. Beauty in their ways to express themselves through garb and hair, song and dance, trade and favors. They steal, and they kill, and they hate.

Physical relationships and ones of the heart made it messy for one to do their duty effectively, even for those who didn’t hold the ever important seat of the Emissary. No one explicitly forbade him from having a relationship of such nature with someone else but it would, without a doubt, be scrutinized and judged.
Ironic really, when his was the seat of judgement.
