Summary
Natsu Dragneel was with Gildarts when he suddenly disappeared in the year following the war with Tartaros. He leaves his bag and Happy behind, with no trace of him to be found.
Gildarts finally finds Lucy only to find out she hasn't seen him either. . .and with the threat of the Alvarez empire leaning over them, they need him. Yet, in their search they only uncover terrible truths.

"The dark is my dominion." Rerir insisted, his mouth curled in a snarl.
"The dark belongs to no man. One day it will swallow you whole, and spit you out." He leaned in closer, a gentle smile flickering across his face. "You'd best pray I am there, when that day comes. I don't think many others would light a lantern for you. Rerir," he continued, with the force of a name owned, "sleep."
