Pawbert didn’t expect his sentence to get cut short, but apparently good behavior goes a long way. After getting thrown back out into the real world after only a year, with practically nothing to his name, Pawbert didn’t exactly have anywhere to go. Except for asking a particular snake for help. But Pawbert doubted he’d be happy about it. Nevertheless, the lynx still felt guilty about what he did back then, and he hoped he’d be able to fix at least a little of their relationship. What Pawbert didn’t expect was for his plea for help to turn into something a lot more intimate.

The year is 1886—Zootopia now rising towards the second industrial revolution. With just a few 211 miles away resides Judith Hopps—daughter to one of the wealthiest farm owners in the tribunal.
When she accepts an assistant job at the ZPD she'll be investigating more than simple orderly files when an unknown string of murders begin to plague Zootopia. Despite the fact it is against law for female mammals to partake in such investigation. It's only with the help of a deceitful fox might she be able to solve the mystery before more mammals face the same fate.
(Late 19th century AU. All characters canon to Zootopia exist in this fic, the setting simply takes place in an old timey version of Zootopia.)

Six months past after the downfall of the Lynxley family and the true founders of Zootopia are revealed. The iconic buddy cop duo Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde had grown closer than ever after surviving a case that nearly broke both them and their relationship. Now living together over a month, Nick and Judy are experiencing unfamiliar feelings towards each other with has become more impossible to ignore.
But when they both suddenly got assigned to become partners and roommates with a familiar blue pit viper to promote a bold, revised inclusion initiative along with an inheritance of wealth and property of the now disgraced Lynxleys. These feelings had become even more complicated with a third wheel added to their lives and putting a fork between their relationship and their jobs as detectives on the side of the law.
But they have no time to further ponder on their issues on their feelings and partnership as a new more dangerous case fell on the ZPD, involving birds who never had been seen for many years. Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and their new partner Gary De'Snake must come together, resolve their internal tensions, and strengthen their bonds and make new unexpected friends to prove that everyone can be anything.
