Dahlia's first memory is waking up in Asra's arms.
After he helped her get back to normal—taught her to walk, talk, read and write—she became his apprentice.
For three years, she's been learning as much as she can about magic, honing her craft under his tutelage.
Even though he's so often gone on his travels—to destinations unknown and the purposes of which are even more so—Dahlia's feelings for him have only grown, shifting from the quiet gratitude and comfort that has always been there since she first woke up, into something strong, passionate and all consuming.
Despite this, she's not entirely sure Asra feels the same as she does, so she keeps her feelings buried.

My name is Malory. I am a student of the magical arts. At the time of this story I was apprenticing under Master Asra, a fortuneteller about the same age as me. We lived above a shop we run together in the center of Vesuvia, bustling sea-side city on cliffs laced with canals… bordered by woods to the north, and fields to the south.
I’d read about other lands outside our city, dealt with their exports in the market, but in my limited memory couldn’t recall ever visiting to see them. I didn’t even like leaving my shop to walk the loud, crowded streets on my own.
Asra at my side usually helped, especially when we first met. I could hold his arm and not have to make sense of the voices around me through my haze of confusion… but he was away for who knows how long and I was left to manage alone this time.
This time… as I journeyed to The Palace to meet The Countess and hear her request of me.

After years of coffee abuse, Julian Devorak’s teeth are a disaster. His friends are worried, HE is worried.
But he’s not ready to face the judgment of a dentist, nor is he ready to be a patient in any scenario.

He can't fathom a person not melting over his charm. After all, he's always prided himself in his people skills.
But after that doesn't work he retorts to his second best skill. One that some might even argue is his first...being a downright infuriating pain in the ass.
After all, there's an awful lot of love lost between them. At least to Julian.

Make your fan apprentice the co-lead in a musical adaptation of The Arcana's pre-canon storyline. Choose your name, your pronouns, who you flirt with (if anyone). There are songs where you choose which lyrics to use (or write your own!) There are even places for you to input personality establishing dialog. With 100 song numbers and 68 scenes, there's plenty of material to work with to create the unhinged libretto you never knew you needed.
