Summary
“Is everything okay? You’re being quieter then you usually are,” Sasha asked as she wrapped her arms around the smaller girl. She felt Marcy hum and nod against her shoulder.
“Yeah I’m good. It’s just really peaceful here. I like it.”
Sasha nodded and turned to face Marcy. The black haired girl looked up and Sasha gave her a quick kiss on the nose. Marcy giggled and hid her face in her girlfriend’s neck. The blonde rested her head on Marcy’s and sighed.

Summary
“So,” The Dragonborn felt his gloved fingertip graze underneath their chin as he lifted their gaze off the ground. A chill ran up their spine as they looked into the cold, black eyes of the mask the man wore. Their breath fluttered in their chest, hard to catch like a damned butterfly. They could hear the snarl in his voice as he spoke again, regaining their attention. “This is who they sent to kill me?”
OR: a different take on the Dragonborn’s first interaction with Miraak.

Summary
Cassie blinked. “Talk about what?”
“The thing. That thing. Dean and Michael.”
Sloane looked up then, head tilted. “You don’t know.” She said it like a statement, rather than a question.
Cassie opened her mouth.
Sloane narrowed her eyes. “Oh. You really don’t know. I thought it was common knowledge.”
“What– what thing?” Cassie asked carefully.
Or, Cassie finds out about a relationship long since buried.

Summary
Of course he can’t be their father figure, he’ll fuck everything up. He does fuck everything up. He’s Connor Roy, the test round, still basically living at home because no one cares about him unless he’s standing in Dad’s shadow. He isn’t their parent, and thank goodness for that, right? Something about trees and their apples.
(or: glimpses of Connor being the only actual dad his siblings have ever known juxtaposed against their present-day indifference.)
