Summary
Dorcas and Marlene don't talk. It's a known fact to everyone in sixth year at Hogwarts; the two girls have never spoken to each other. In school grounds, that is. And they've definitely never spoken outside of Hogwarts, their separate friends can vouch for that.
Yet somehow, their friends can't explain where the two girls go when they both end up disappearing on nights out. Or why they both come back to the group with flushed faces and messed up hair. Or that one time that Marlene came back with something resembling a bruise on her neck, that definitely hadn't been there when Lily had done her hair earlier.
All anyone knows is that Dorcas and Marlene do not talk under any circumstances. Ever. And the two of them definitely didn't push their two friend groups together. Not at all. They would never do that.
