    Lady Danbury cocked her head and pursed her lips. “Three dances.”

    “What?”

    “You will dance with at least 3 gentlemen of my choosing and you will try to keep from hovering over Edwina. You are not her mama.”

    “I do not think there will be 3 gentlemen willing to dance with me.” Kate bit her lip. “I have always been a bit of a wallflower.”

    “So was I, once.” Lady Danbury rejoiced at the look of surprise on Kate’s face. “I don’t think that I’ve ever met a lady so arrogant and insecure at the same time. You will get a horse in the morning and in return you will dance with at least 3 gentlemen and try.”

    Anthony stays by Kate's side the entire evening, whispering in her ear. After Anthony tells her that he wants to practice for nine children, Kate asks him to explain; They go to the terrace and he tells her that he's looking forward to their wedding night and he wants to touch and taste her. Violet tells them to go inside and Kate demands a second lesson; for Anthony to show her what he wants.

    Violet forces Eloise to dance with lord Morrison who insults Eloise and the women and wants to spike the punch. Eloise tells Kate this and Kate insists that Eloise dance with Anthony; they talk and Anthony tells her that he doesn't care if he marries, he wants her to be happy and he will give her control over her dowry. Eloise tells Anthony what Kate said about him.

    After the ball, Anthony visits Kate in her room and asks her to undress because he wants to see her. kate asks what if he doesn't like what he sees and Anthony tells her that it's impossible. She doesn't have to do it if she's uncomfortable and asks her to trust him. She sits on the bed and undresses her and he starts touching her and complimenting her. He fingers her and goes down on her, complimenting her the entire time Kate feels confused but she loves it and she has an orgasm; she screams.

    Edwina hears it and knocks on the door asking her if she's alright. Kate dresses and Anthony hides; Kate tells her that she has a nightmare but she's alright. When Edwina leaves, Anthony holds Kate in his arms and she asks if she can do something for him. Anthony says that she's not ready yet and Kate disagrees. She's moving against him and Anthony holds her until she stops; he tells her to go to sleep.

    After returning to London, Kate tells Edwina about the Sheffield deal and Edwina is angry. Kate prepares for the wedding with Violet and a week later Anthony, who stayed later to make sure tgeyr honeymoon wouldn't be disrupted, comes back and call on Kate who's too busy to see him. He goes to see a solicitor and misses lunch with Kate.

    When he comes home he learns that Kate is playing hide and seek with Hyacinth and Gregory; he finds he rounder his desk in his study and tells Gregory that Kate is not there. They tease each other and kiss. Kate sits on Anthony's lap. Kate tells him that Violet and Mary want to invite to the wedding the Sheffields who hate Kate; she's worried. Kate ells Anthony that while learning about Viscountess's responsibilities she asked about Anthony's and wants to help him with the ledgers for Hy and Greg. Anthony agrees.

    The Bridgertons try Indian cuisine dishes that will be served at the wedding. Colin tries spicy samosa and can't eat it; Kate cautioned him to wait for the bland version the cook prepared. Eloise wants to go to Bloomsbury and Kate offers to go with her much to Violet and Anthony's dismay.

    They go to the book shop Theo works in and Eloise doesn't say anything to him but he is nearby and teases her. Kate appears with the books and they pay; Kate notices Eloise and Theo interact. When they leave the shop a carriage stops and 3 men try to kidnap Eloise and Kate, and they fight them off. Kate uses the needles she bought to fight them. The men go after Kate leaving Eloise, who screams for help.

    Bridgerton staff hears Eloise and takes the girls to Bridgerton House while the men escape. Eloise tells the police that she heard another man who told others to grab Kate; they were after her, not Eloise. The doctor comes to check on Kate and Eloise and Anthony is overprotective and sends for another one to make sure Kate is alright. Eloise tells Penelope what happened and they decide to talk to Kate to find out if she has any enemies.

    Kate and Anthony argue; Anthony is angry that Kate fought the men but Kate defended herself and Eloise, Eloise and Penelope come in and ask Kate about her past and enemies and if there's anyone Kate wouldn't want to see again. kate tells them about a guy, Rohit, who was the bully but she became friends with, He confessed his feelings towards her but kate has never felt anything for him and she told him that before coming to England. Eloise and Penelope think it might be him, but Kate is sure that Rohit is in India and doesn't even know that she's about to get married; the letters travel months to India, so there's no way for Rohit to know She doesn't tell them about the bruise that he gave her on her arm. Anthony is displeased hearing about Rohit and Penelope asks how they know if the feelings sone has for a froends are romantic. Anthony tells her that the feelings are more
