This series serves as a companion to pickleplum's "Owl and Dragon" universe, also known as the "Athene Noctua" universe. Each vignette is from Hermann's perspective, which is stuck in the past--hence the present tenses. Each story features one of Hermann's loved ones reminding him that he is not a monster and that they love him. Hermann needs a lot of reminding.
