Summary
Time crawls by as the kingdom waits for the recovery of their Crown Prince. It is a fool's hope, of course, but it is much preferred to the alternative.
The war rages on outside the castle walls and Remus visits his brother one final time before riding off into what might well be the biggest battle he's faced. He does not expect a response from Roman, but he simply can't give up on him just yet.
But maybe a fool's hope is the best cure for a Serpent's Miasma, after all.
