His eyes narrowed, flicking to the darkness around him–huffing in annoyance when his core stuttered and clenched.
He wasn't scared. He wasn't! If he was scared he wouldn't have dragged himself out here to patrol the belt in the first place.
But he did.
And now he's here.
In the inky void, where sunlight barely reached and the dark, shadowy tendrils reached out like hands.
