His Highness is an original work inspired by my recent love for Chinese dramas and Danmei novels
which are set in Ancient China and tend to belong in the Xianxia genre as well. This story contains
sensitive content such as child neglect, homophobia & internalized homophobia, war, torture and nudity.

He Leiwen has lived a sheltered life, being the former crown prince, briefly ascended to the throne as Emperor of Xian
before a war causes the fall of his kingdom and leaves him as a captive to the new one, yet even in torture
he continues to hold on for his beloved god who protected him from an assasination attempt all those years ago.

Xu Ying has lived a hard life having been born into the redlight district of the capital and having hemiplegia
but with a chance experience of saving the crown prince from an assasination attempt he finds himself as a Eunuch
servant of the palace. With the fall of the kingdom, he manages to run away and eventually cultivates to ascend to godhood,
yet he never forgets his beloved prince.
