this AU was written in the time following the release of Deltarune Chapters 3 + 4. readers are advised to please consider this work to be a sort of "time capsule" of the general understanding of Deltarune's story following its 4th installment, and to avoid applying any details or aspects of the lore that might arise in the 5th chapter onward to its plot, characters, and worldbuilding. readers are also encouraged to be mindful of the warnings and tags, and are asked to please approach this story with an open mind and heart.
