She knows where she is. She’s on her way to the Emerald City. On her way to meet the Wizard.
It’s not like she’s never come back here before, in her head. She revisits it plenty, and it comes to her repeatedly in her dreams. She’s gone over every minute detail of how she could have avoided her fate, over and over again, chiding herself constantly for her temper, for being so quick to anger, for not being able to think on her feet.
Impulsivity, acting without thinking. Not like that’s how she ended up back here again too.

Summary
When Dorothy Gale returned home to Kansas from her adventures in Oz, she swore she would never again take her home for granted and would look for adventure no further away than her own backyard. But life has a way of refusing to turn out the way you expect.
When a mysterious series of events leads Dorothy to returning somewhere she barely even allowed herself to dream of seeing again, she's not sure what to think. But this Oz doesn't seem to remember her, and it's resemblance to the fairyland of her memories is slim at best. And this new Oz seems to be as dangerous, as on edge, as the country that she called home.
