To say Jinx was impulsive was a great understatement. She did things she wanted to do, because she wanted to. There was no rhyme or reason behind it. No obsessive compulsion to do something. Did these decisions happen to be safe or sane at times, no, not always. But if she got what she wanted, then did it really matter? If no one gets hurt in the process, then who's to say it was a bad idea in the first place?
Everyone, that's who.
But that didn't matter, what mattered was Jinx wanted to kiss the hot lifeguard who's been teaching her daughter how to swim for the last two weeks, and she was on a mission.

Summary
Things were supposed to get better after reuniting and moving in with Vi; the fresh start Jinx needed to get on the right track after losing her father. But as if it was a malfunctioning engine valve, it blows up right in her face. Because it's her life, and if there's one thing about her life, it's that good things never came easy.
But this malfunction might not be a totally bad thing after all.
