Summary
[...] Then, as if nothing ever happened, she was back on the edge of the Tower’s rooftop. Bob was staring at her, his face was pale, his eyes wide open. One of his hands was up in the air near her right arm as if he had tried to comfort her before realizing what he was actually doing.
« Yelena, I’m so sorry, I— you know I can control it, but sometimes… » panic and pain and guilt were all she could sense in his trembling voice. Bob stood up, his legs shaking as he moved away from her, but just in her memory with Natasha, Yelena got up and ran after him.
« Bob, wait! » she reached him and cupped his face in her hands, pulling him closer, her forehead against his, desperate to touch him. She was crying and she hadn’t even noticed it.
« Take me back, please » her words came out sobbing, almost like a plea « Bob, let me see her once again, let me see my sister, I beg you »⤷ second os of the series dedicated to Yelena and Bob, memories of past birthdays she wishes to forget and an unexpected bittersweet present.

« I do » Yelena pulled herself back enough to look at his face, and couldn’t help but notice how Bob’s eyes had an intense, penetrating golden glow around his pupils.
« Bob— »
« It’s okay, we’ll be back soon » he reassured her with a smile, and even though she was looking into Sentry's eyes, those words came without a doubt from Bob, his face kind as always.⤷ third os from my boblena series: after an almost-kiss situantion and tension growing, Bob lifts Yelena's feet off the ground... quite literaly.
