Summary
As a god, Giratina is owed a certain degree of worship. It has been many long centuries since they received what they were due. So when they are presented with two enticing little humans - one a man with the ambitions to oppose Arceus, another the chosen one who was sent to stop him - it stands to reason that they would take what is owed them.
But Giratina is not Arceus, who takes without giving in return. And Giratina will be sure to take very, very good care of their new followers.

Summary
Akari knows she should be horrified by her situation. She should be furious with Volo for lying to her the way he has, with Giratina for placing their claim upon her soul, with both of them for snatching her away to Turnback Cave to join in their twisted form of worship. And that's not even getting into how Giratina has apparently decided that she and Volo are engaged now. By all rights, she should want nothing to do with either of them.
But they've made it clear how much they want her. And after everything she's been through in Hisui, Akari is in desperate need of a place where she feels so wanted.

Summary
Volo's finally gotten all he wanted and then some. Arceus has fallen, and the world has been made anew. The few things carried over from that old world have been twisted to suit his whims. And he gets to reign over all of it, worshipped as a god of creation, just like both of the beloved consorts that now rule at his side.
But their new world could use more gods to help oversee it. And Akari and Giratina have an... interesting idea for how Volo can help them create one such god.
