Summary
There are legal partnerships as well as marriage in modern Thedas, and legal partnerships are more common except with the nobility. They’re a more flexible legal recognition of relationships, and they have to be renewed periodically.
In Northern Ferelden, where this story is set, they’re renewed every three years.
Leili and Cullen partnered three years ago because they thought it was the responsible choice in light of her unintentional pregnancy. This is set several years prior to the current story.

Summary
This is another bit from our Modern AU. It’s just a stream-of-consciousness ramble from Lils. Don’t worry if you don’t follow. Most of this stuff she needs to say to Kathil, however, she tends to just shut down and aithne had gone to bed. You know how noisy characters get. Have some Lils’ brain.

Summary
About ten years prior to the current timeline, there was an event called The Panic in southern Ferelden. The Chantry claims it was an instance of mass hysteria and enforced this view on the survivors in refugee camps set up by their peacekeepers. Lils and Laica and her siblings were among the refugees.
Since then, Lils has been trying to figure out why the Chantry insisted nothing happened. This is a peek in her head while she thinks about that and some new information she’s come across recently.Series

Summary
This time, we get a look at what is going on on the other side of the Veil.
Ages before, the Veil was thickened and magic in Thedas ended.
On the other side of the Veil, there is impatience and hunger after being locked away for so long. A very few spirits have managed to possess hosts without destroying them within minutes. Justice happens to be one of those spirits, and Anders is his lucky host.
And now someone has murdered Nathaniel (which Anders isn’t upset about) and kidnapped Kahrin (which Anders is very upset about). Anders went to intercept them, and Justice manifested.
P.S. I suggest a very literal reading of Justice’s remarks.
