Nancy words rings in Steve’s ears as he walks down the stairs.
Steve grabs the handle and the door springs open. Crisp autumn air stings his throat as he walks out. He can feel some pressure release off his chest. Steve looks around, trying to find where he parked his car.
He’s broken out of thought when he bumps into someone’s shoulder, before he’s even halfway to his car.
“Jesus, watch where you’re- whoa Harrington, off in a hurry, aren’t ’chu.”
Steve knows that voice, why does he know that voice?

“Fuck me, what do you want?” Steve lets out a loud groan and slumps into his chair.
“I was uh- just wondering what the fuck happened to you?”
After a while of awkward silence Steve lets out an exasperated sigh. “You really know how to tick someone off.”
“It one of by better quality’s,” Eddie says without a second thought. Then Steve chuckles, he actually laughed at something Eddie said.
