My version of the revolving relationships between Angel(us), Spike, Drusilla and Darla over their two hundred and fifty year (and less) existence.

Notes:

This series is open-ended (in that, technically, it's not done although I've not written anything for it in years). It's a series revolving around the vampires on Buffy--Angel, Spike, Drusilla and Darla--and their relationships, spanning two hundred and fifty years. In it, as in most stories I write about Spike, he is two hundred years old, Angelus' first and favorite childe, and the son of a Baron. I began this series in 1998, long before William's history was revealed on the show.

The stories range from extremely dark (rape) to silly. Lots of sex, BDSM, my own view of the Sire/Childe relationship, and both het and slash sex. Canon diverges in Season 4, after Spike's one appearance, though many canon things still happen, like Darla's return and Connor. There are holiday stories and stories in which Spike has the same problems with computers and eBay and things like that that I had, in that I used him to get out my frustrations. Some were written for challenges and for fic exchanges, there's even a song fic or two.

The stories were originally posted in the order they were written. Here they are posted chronologically, so you'll see a lot of stylistic differences. The first several stories written (including Alpha for which the series is named) are in first person past tense, something I would never do again (I love first person present tense but I have no clue why I did this in past). Others are in third person present tense and third person past tense.
