Summary
Tianlang Jun padded towards the basement steps, eyes already locked on the dull, red light creeping out from underneath the door. With a smile, slowly pulled the door open, mindful of the hinges, and began to quietly make his way downstairs.
The sight that greeted him prompted something hot and dark to stretch in his belly, similar to the languid movements of a predator waking itself from a long nap. Bathed in the dim vermillion light, Shen Jiu lounged on the wide daybed amongst the pillows that Tianlang Jun placed in the basement den shortly after he found out about Shen Jiu’s favorite vice. The red oil lamp suspended from the ceiling tinged Shen Jiu’s usually deathly pallor with a light flush. It wasn't immediately clear to him how long Shen Jiu had been in the basement, but it had to have been at least a few hours if the empty bottle of wine and half finished glass of absinthe were any indication.

Tianlang Jun comes home and finds Shen Jiu in one of his moods. They work it out together.

Summary
"You should come back to my place,” Tianlang Jun murmured against the heated skin of the young man’s cheek as one of his hands worked to tug his shirt out from his trousers. Smirking against his skin, Tianlang Jun ran a sharp nail along the man’s waist, relishing in the quiet moan it elicited.
“Yes,” the man breathed out, eyes already hazy. Smiling, Tianlang Jun pressed another heated kiss to his lips and led the way, practically dragging him along until Tianlang Jun finally pulled him forward and slung one of his arms around his shoulders so he could lead the man to his doom.

He was halfway through his task when something pulled at his thoughts. Something familiar - something that called to him in a mocking whisper.
Look up.
Hand still drawing the scalpel across the connective tissue holding the mass in place, Tianlang Jun looked up into the audience for a fleeting second. Drawn to the back row, his eyes alighted on a familiar face.
Shen Jiu's gaze bored into him from behind a delicate pair of lenses Tianlang Jun knew the man didn't need. Sucking in a sharp breath, Tianlang Jun twitched his wrist to the side before his hand continued its downward trajectory.
