'He knew Henry better than the man knew himself because unlike the piteous creature, he never forgot. Every time the artist respawned and restarted his hellish journey anew, Bendy was there. He knew where Henry would go and what he would be herded to do. He knew how he’d react and how he’d eventually accept his terrible fate only to struggle against it with no comprehension of the futility of his actions. He was the shepherd in the shadows herding the man towards the same designed paths. They were stuck in a cycle, except one of them was blessed with forgetfulness. Or cursed? Honestly, the demon wasn’t sure if he’d be happy to erase and repeat their little act ad nauseam or if he enjoyed his superiority over knowing the hundreds of times he’d stalked Henry down those exact corridors.'

He could alert the axe wielding maniac of his impending doom… He could recall the message likening this creature to a fallen person… He could do so much but Henry chose silence. His inaction was the thing Bendy seemed to be waiting for. “
